These Official Rules apply to the
Lions of Virginia Virtual Duck Race,
sponsored by Lions Clubs International – Multiple District 24
(“MD24” or “Sponsor”).
The event consists of three District races and one
Multiple District 24 (Virginia) race.
1. Fundraising Beneficiary
The fundraising beneficiary is the
Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF).
LCIF Mission:
“To empower Lions clubs, volunteers and partners to improve
health and wellbeing, strengthen communities and support those
in need through humanitarian service and grants that impact
lives globally, and encourage peace and international
understanding.”
2. Race Date and Time
The Virtual Duck Race is scheduled for
Saturday, May 29, 2027 at 6:00 PM Eastern Time.

3. Duck Donation Packages
Participants may make a donation and receive entries represented
by virtual ducks.

4. How to Enter
Participants may make donations for duck packages:

Electronically through the official race website using
the secure online payment checkout; or - By cash or check through an authorized District LCIF Coordinator.
Participants receive no cash-value benefit in exchange for
their charitable donation other than eligibility for the
applicable prize drawing.
5. Donation Credit
Donations may be credited to an individual Lion or Lions club.
Donations received without an individual or club designation
will be credited to the appropriate District that collected
the donation.
6. Entry Deadline
All duck donations and entries close at
1:00 PM Eastern Time on Saturday, May 29, 2027.
Entries must be successfully received and recorded before
the deadline to participate.
7. Prizes
There will be three District races and one MD24 statewide race.
District Race — First Place
$500 District/Club Community Impact Grant
MD24 Virginia Race — First Place
Melvin Jones Fellowship, which may be received by the
winner or gifted to another eligible recipient.
District Prize Award:
A District Race prize will be awarded at the associated
club level. If no club is designated, the District LCIF
Coordinator will identify the closest participating club.
MD24 Prize Award:
The MD24 prize will be awarded to the designated individual
or club associated with the winning entry.
8. Winner Selection
Winning ducks are selected through a
recorded randomized selection process.
The Virtual Duck Race presentation is for entertainment and
promotional purposes and visually represents the randomized
selection of the winning entries.
The recorded randomized selection process determines the
official winners.
9. Winner Notification
District LCIF Coordinators will notify winners using the
contact information associated with the winning entry.
10. Sponsor and Event Management
The event is sponsored and managed by:

Multiple District 24 - Multiple District 24 and District LCIF Coordinators
11. Charitable Status and Virginia Charitable Gaming
Lions Clubs International Foundation is a
501(c)(3) charitable organization.
The Sponsor has structured the event in accordance with
applicable Virginia charitable gaming requirements,
including Virginia Code § 18.2-340.15 et seq.
Virginia Code § 18.2-340.23 provides certain exemptions
from charitable gaming notification, regulatory, fee and
reporting requirements for qualifying organizations and
raffles meeting the requirements established by Virginia law.
12. Eligibility
No specific age or geographic restriction has been
established by the Sponsor for participation in this event,
subject to applicable law and these Official Rules.
13. Refund Policy
No refunds.
All donations and entries are final.
14. Technical, Internet and Payment Issues
Sponsor is not responsible for internet, technical, or payment
failures, including but not limited to interrupted service,
failed payment processing, delayed entries, incomplete
transactions, or other technical problems that may affect
participation.
15. Disqualification
Fraudulent or automated entries are prohibited.
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify entries that appear
to be fraudulent, automated, incomplete, inaccurate,
duplicated, tampered with, or otherwise in violation of these
Official Rules.
16. Sponsor Rights
Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, postpone, or
cancel the event if technical or legal issues occur, or if
the integrity, administration, security, fairness, or proper
operation of the event is affected.
17. Publicity Release
Winners may permit the Sponsor to use their name and likeness
for event-related promotional and recognition purposes.
18. Technology Provider / No Legal Advice
EzVirtualRace.com and Giving Technology, LLC provide
technology, website, promotional, and virtual race support
services only.
EzVirtualRace.com and Giving Technology, LLC do not provide
legal advice.
The sponsoring organization is responsible for reviewing,
approving, and confirming that the event structure, Official
Rules, permit or raffle requirements, prize terms, payment
collection, winner selection, and promotional materials meet
applicable legal, regulatory, and permit requirements.
19. Governing Law
These Official Rules and the MD24 Virtual Duck Race are
governed by applicable Virginia law, including the Virginia
Charitable Gaming Law,
Virginia Code § 18.2-340.15 et seq.
